Great post Dick!

I attended the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver meeting last night and from what I heard, this seems to be the trend all through Colorado.  Tom Clark, who is well known throughout the Colorado area and the nation for his economic development knowledge and experience, gave a capitvating overview of where he sees Colorado going in the next few years., in regards to residential and commercial development.  We are going to see housing shortfalls for a few years to come, especially in the $150k to $300k arena.

I totally agree with you that potential condo and townhome buyers should partner up with a local real estate professional to keep track of what properties are avialable or coming up for sale.  As many know, some of the customer accessible "home search" sites can be days behind on listings, leading to the customer to mis out on a property.

They'd also be remiss not to get pre-qualified, as this would certainly help with securing the property in this extremely fast paced market.

Hi Dick, unfortunately, we don't have many townhomes and no condo developments in my area, however, a large developer just purchased land where there will be townhomes. It's great that Loveland CO buyers looking for a towhome/condo have a wide range to choose from, all they have to do is call Dick Greenberg and be represented by one of the best Realtors.

Hi Dick -- considering the low inventory, the number of condos/townhomes sold so far in 2016 is pretty impressive.  Prospective buyers and sellers in the Northern Colorado markets you serve need local experts like Mary and you to be successful regardless of market conditions.

Townhomes are the perfect choice for active folks who don't want to be tied down to home maintenance.  I bet these are some great places to call home in Loveland CO.
